Mergers & acquisitions
Jeni Meyer focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions and general business law. A significant portion of Jeni’s practice involves working with developers in the acquisition, leasing, and disposition of commercial real estate. This experience covers a variety of asset types, including apartment complexes, mixed-use, office buildings, retail and hotels. Jeni also acts as outside business counsel, including advising on corporate ownership and general contract negotiations.
Counsel to purchase of $96 million mixed use development, including facility acquisition, private equity and lender financing.
Represent developer in $28 million acquisition of multiple apartment complexes and related financing.
Negotiated and documented commercial leases on behalf of a variety of landlords and tenants in Portland metropolitan areas including space for retail, general office, and industrial uses.
Counsel to developer in $54 million acquisition and renovation financing for downtown city block, including tax credit investment, mezzanine debt, private equity and senior secured debt.

Jeni has a diverse professional background, including practicing with Davis Wright Tremaine in Portland, Oregon, acting as foreign legal advisor at Nishimura & Asahi LPC in Tokyo, Japan, and prior to law school, working for Senator Ron Wyden in Washington, D.C.
